As reviewed in The Australian Woodworker Issue 184

If Steve Maskery’s first three volumes of Workshop Essentials can be grouped as being devoted to the construction of jigs generally, then the next three volumes can be viewed as being produced for operators of the bandsaw.

In Volume Four he demonstrates the working parts of the bandsaw, discusses blade selection, installs a new blade, deals with drift, makes bevel cuts, works with cylindrical components and cuts curves with a pattern fence.

During the course of the video, he describes the construction of a single point fence, a pattern fence and a fine adjustment fence – all designed for the bandsaw.

Of particular interest to those who find this task nigh impossible, Steve shows how to fold the bandsaw blade correctly into three loops (or five loops with a long fine blade).
