Working with full-size patterns is always a boon to the woodworker in any facet of the craft. Unfortunately, the drawings for just one project can become a little unwieldy if you choose to make 10 metre long wooden boats. But as Custom Wooden Music Boxes proves, you can put a whole lot of Music Box drawings into just one book.
Granted it's a rather chunky book, but it contains drawings for no less than 45 of these exquisitely detailed musical keepsakes. Printed on coated paper that is a little heavier than that used for most normal books, the drawings are intended to be used as masters. They can be photocopied to obtain patterns which may then be directly fixed to the material to be cut.
An introductory chapter deals with this process as well as offering a helpful guide to other basic operations in the construction of Music Boxes.
A very wide range of designs is included, some relatively simple, others quite complicated.
The projects are arranged in groups according to various themes such as Angels, Children, Christmas, Mother's Day & Father's Day, Romance and Religion. All are from the author's Berry Basket Collection.
