No matter how often it is criticised and lampooned, astrology still seems to survive. There are daily horoscopes in most newspapers and many magazines - and few us are unaware of the astrological sign under which we were born.

If nothing else, these signs are a reminder of pagan days long past.

Judy and Dave Peterson have added Zodiac Puzzles to their list of titles devoted to puzzles made on the scrollsaw.

Two of the designs are singled out for special treatment - Capricorn and the Year of the Horse. The making of these is described in detail so as to provide the guidance necessary for readers to complete the other projects.

In addition, photos and drawings are given for making the 12 signs of the Western Zodiac and the 12 signs of the Eastern Zodiac - the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Ram, Dog, Rooster...

All are free standing and aside from being puzzles, they would also make attractive desk or cabinet-top ornaments.
