About the Author: Eric Stephenson is a woodworking consultant having worked for a number of companies in the trade. He has held lecturing posts in various colleges, was an examiner for the City & Guilds of London Institute, and is involved in training courses for the Saw Doctor Association. He has travelled widely throughout Europe, North America, South East Asia and Australasia giving lectures and seminars on woodworking tools. He is currently President of the Institute of Machine Woodworking Technology.
