Extract from back cover of book:

What's the best way to make beautiful, tight-fitting joints? Most joinery books focus on using a combination of power and hand tools. But hand-tool skills take time to master, and few of us own every major woodworking machine. With this fresh approach to the subject, you'll learn how to cut all the classic joints using power tools alone, which simplifies the process and guarantees great results.

Don't have a bandsaw? No problem. Find out how to cut the same joint using another tool, such as a table saw. Or try your hand on the router table. Simplify the joint-cutting process and make your cuts more accurate by building numerous jigs and fixtures. Over 200 color photos and 100 illustrations demonstrate how individual joints go together, how to set up your tools and accessories, and how to make the right cuts.

You'll find over 100 joints to construct:
Butt joints
Tongue-and-groove
Splines
Biscuits
Dowels
Rabbets
Dadoes
Finger joints
Lap joints
Mortise-and-tenon
Dovetails

Bonus: A 16-page gallery of fine furniture by accomplished woodworkers, illustrating the major joints.
