About the Author: Harvey Helm started making banks in response to a group of high school industrial arts students who needed "something fun" to make. His first bank, the piggy bank shown on the front cover, was so popular that Harvey continued to design banks. He currently has more than 50 banks in design, the prototypes of which are cherished by his grandchildren.
