About the Author - Pete lives in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He was recently made a member of the prestigious Caricature Carvers of America. He teaches carving around the country, and is active in several carver's clubs in New England. He only began showing his work a few years ago, and has already been named whittling champion of the open division in the prestigious Texas Woodcarvers Guild Show, 1994, and has found national recognition for his ability.
